I couldn't find 20 even in this mess!

I can't believe I couldn't find 20!

Sadly, this picture won't shock the socks off too many people who know me well. I would like to say that having twin 2-year-olds is my excuse. It's not. I have always been messy. And lazy. And not one of those, "everything has a place" kind of people. And I'm okay with that. Most of the time.

Since I've been tagged by Kelly over at The Neurotic Mom. Here is the photo evidence of my chaos. Thankfully it is the spare bedroom and only has to be tidy when we have company.

The room from which I blog:

1. spray starch out of the reach of little ones
2. 2 random candles that have NEVER been lit in this room
3. my bowl and fork from lunch yesterday
4. the Febreze I used to kill a bug in my trash can
5. a lamp I brought in to add a little something to the desk (that something is clutter)
6. a stack of stuff, I really don't know what it in there
7. the iron/ironing board, because if it was in any other room it would have to be put away
8. a gift of diapers
9. another gift of diapers
10. shoes for Goodwill that I raided the other day
11. a gift for a little boy Z&G go to school with
12. gift for the neighbor girl
13. gift for the neighbor boy

My Other "Neglected" Blog

I created my "other blog" after an awesome trip to CVS that I just had to share with The Money Saving Mom. Since this blog is for more family oriented stuff, I decided to make a blog just for frugality and food. That was July. I just posted my second entry a few minutes ago. If it hadn't been for Rachel's mention of her other blog, and the recipe I found when I got there, AND a cute bloggy carnival, I probably wouldn't have touched the "other blog".
Now there's enough links to keep you busy for a while!

The Doctor's Frugal Wife

I received my first blog award today from Rachel! She was actually the one who has inspired me to get more into the "blogging". Our blog started out as a way to keep family up to date with what was going on in my difficult pregnancy with the boys. I started blogging from my hospital room and it has grown to be something I LOVE to do...and often get in trouble for spending too much time doing it.

Which leads me to my next topic. I am not blogging this weekend. I will catch up Monday night when Sloan is on call (giving ladies their much appreciated epidurals before they deliver their little bundles of love). We are headed to Austin where Sloan has a conference and I have a mommy. We are actually going to get a night alone without babies and I am going to get some much needed time with my mom.

Until then I will be thinking of who deserves this lovely blog award!

pardon the dust...

I am being creative and changing the look of our blog once again...it's midnight...I'll finish it up tomorrow.

Work in progress...

As you can tell, I am working on the image of our blog. I'm sure I am the only one that cared how boring it looked before! Since it is 10:37 p.m. I am calling it a night. I would love your feedback on the new look, let me know what else needs to be jazzed up. Things still might change...you know how I am!
