Sloan and I will be participating in a fundraising event benefiting Texas Children's Hospital. As most of you know, our boys spent the more critical time of their lives in the care of the wonderful doctors at TCH. This is our opportunity to give thanks by helping to raise money through Cycle for Life.
Cycle for Life is a fundraising event benefiting The Periwinkle Foundation. The funds raised by this event will support programs including Camp Periwinkle, Camp YOLO, Family Camp, an Arts & Creative Writing Program, and a Long Term Survivor Program. Periwinkle programs provide carefree environments where children with cancer and longer term illnesses have the opportunity to learn important life skills just like children without cancer. By bringing joy back into their lives, they learn to be strong survivors, whether they live for one month more, or for a lifetime.
