Growing Strong!

The boys had a great check-up with Dr. Rowland yesterday. We did get some shots that made us rather fussy..Zachary cried all the way back to Grandma's house (2 hours). We gave them each some Tylenol with their bottles and they slept through the night...they had a busy day. Zachary and Grant are still below average on size (which was expected), but they have met all the major developmental milestones for 4 months. They are still hanging on to some reflexes/habits they should have lost by now, but the doctor said that as long as those are gone by the time they are corrected to 4 months age (July 21st) that she's not going to worry about it. Here are the stats:

Zachary:
Head - 16" 10th percentile
Height - 22 1/2" <5th percentile
Weight - 12lbs 9 1/2oz 10th percentile

Grant:
Head - 15 1/2" 10th percentile
Height - 23" <5th percentile
Weight - 13lbs 4oz 10-25th percentile

At least now we actually make it onto the growth scale..before they couldn't even plot the boys because they were so small. It is crazy to think that they were 10lbs smaller when they were born! Dr. Rowland isn't concerned that they are so far below average because they are putting on good weight. We go back again in 2 months for more shots...yuck! But by six months we will be starting cereal, food and a sippy cup! I can't believe that time is coming already! My boys really are growing up too fast.

I really would love to post some pictures, especially now that Zac and Grant are smiling, but Sloan's mom has dial-up internet and this is enough of a feat.
