Goodwill Makeover: Chairs

I have been on the hunt for new chairs for my desk and vanity for quite a while, but just wasn't willing to fork over the cash for new chairs!

I made a quick pit-stop by Goodwill on the way home last week and knew I had found just what I was looking for!

HIDEOUS...I know!  

But at $14.99 for the pair, I looked past the striped velour and yucky paint...ripped the tag off, paid, and they were mine!  Everyone looked at me like I was insane as I carried each one out to my car (yes, I, because the 9 employees I passed on my way to and fro were too "busy" to help little ole me!).

Thankfully I have a husband that has seen my transformations in the past, so he wasn't quite as skeptical when he saw them.

$9.00 in spray paint and $12.00 in fabric later and here are my new chairs!

I LOVE them!  

I don't think I could have found anything I liked better new in the stores! 

My mom always asks where I got new things in the house...and my answer 9 times out of 10 is GOODWILL!  It doesn't hurt that there is one a block from our house!
