New Year's Resolution: Wallet Makeover

I have created a budget and tracked our expenses for a long time. I haven't, however, been very good at sticking to our budget. So this year I am resolving to be a better shepherd of our money and stick to our budget religiously. The credit cards are frozen in the freezer and my wallet got a makeover.

Here's the tutorial if you want to create your very own pretty cash envelopes for your wallet.

This is going to take a lot of prayer and devotion on my part. I have horrible self control and often convince myself that wants are needs and spend outside our means. I can't wait to see how much money we save this year!

I've linked up here with others who are sharing their new year's resolution and goals:

  1. Good luck! My husband and I got Quicken and every penny for the past 8 years we've been married is accounted for..everything is in the computer at the end of the year and he charts this. That is a BIT much! But still it keeps us both accountable and drives me in sane :P

  3. I love it! We're working on tightening our budget and plan to move to a cash system. I may have to make one of these.
