The boys' Christmas present From Grandpa arrived Friday. Zachary was so excited when he saw the "big truck" that was bringing his new swing set.
Saturday morning offered perfect swing set building weather. We started around 8:00am with the inventory of parts and lots of help from Zachary and Grant.
A quick break for a little snack.
Around 12:30, the battery on the power-drill-screwdriver-thing died...but look how much we got done. Sloan decided this was the prefect time for pie, while I decided to grab a screwdriver and get the window boards up.

With a fully charged battery, the rest went up pretty quickly. Here's the finished product around 3:30pm.
Last weekend, we baked cookies to take to our neighbors. Surprisingly the boys did well with not eating the dough. The cookies were a little misshapen, but made with love.
