...cleaned the house...as Grant helped to sweep just about every room. He was frustrated that the broom didn't work as well in the carpeted areas of the house.
...swang in our new swing that Sloan hung from the tree in our front yard. This now makes 3 tree swings in a row and the 5th on our street.
...all got haircuts in the backyard (except me of course). Now all the Youngblood men sport the buzz cut.
...compromised as Zachary insisted that the sock take a bath also. He has yet to give up his sock fetish.
...gathered with neighbors. We have really enjoyed getting to know our neighbors and were invited to share in a BBQ. Grant decided to join right in and climbed up to the big kid table.
This makes me laugh...look at Zachary in the first picture, then in the second...ha ha! I didn't realize he even did that until I looked back at the pictures.
There are no pictures of all the yard work that Sloan and I did this weekend, but the yard is coming along quite nicely. We disassembled a large raised bed around one of our oak trees and mulched the front beds. Our next project is to hurry and get our Hasta bulbs in the ground around the tree so that they can be ready to go before summer.
