Sloan and I just got back from a much needed vacation. We went to Whistler, B.C., both of ours first trip to Canada.
Whistler/Blackcomb is a big ski resort that attracts tourists from all over the world. Although I had little appreciation for the skiing after my first attempt (lots of falling, crying and 4 hours later I was half way down the mountain), there was a great village surrounding the hotel full of great restaurants and shops. The U.S. dollar is weak, so not much shopping was done! Unfortunately, we forgot our camera during our outing on the first day, little did we know that was going to be the only clear day for pictures. Friday, there was a huge snow storm that dropped 15 inches of snow and left us stranded in a bus trying to get to Whistler Village. Saturday was beautiful, and that was the only day without a snow storm. So, on the last night we decided we HAD to have a picture of the two of us on vacation...so we took one of ourselves!
Zachary and Grant didn't want to let us go...

Our attempts at getting a picture of ourselves together on vacation...

Gigi got the privilege of keeping the boys while we were away, here are some pictures she took.
Zachary...he just knows he's cute! (Zachary also had minor surgery on his tongue while we were away. He was born "tongue-tied", so one of the oral surgeons that my mom works for performed the surgery. Now he will have no problem licking an icecream cone!)
Lots of cruising the house with walkers...
Grant checks out Gigi's cabinets...
Too much banana...

I am so glad that you and Sloan were able to get away for a vacation with just the two of you. I have never been to Canada and it looks beautiful but cold! It looks like the boys had a fabulous time too while you all were gone. I'm sure they were spoiled, but hey, that's what grandparents are for!
