Zachary and Grant have been battling the winter "bugs" already. Last week Zachary was sent home from daycare with a temp of 102.5 and a rash on his arms. By the time Sloan got him to the doctor, his rash had spread and he had a sore in the back of his throat. He had the dreaded hand-foot-and mouth disease that has apparently been running rampant throughout schools and daycares lately. Grant was lucky, he only got a mild fever Tuesday night that was gone by the morning, and a little rash on his knee Thursday...but that is gone now too. Both boys were back at daycare Wednesday...which is a good thing since I have no more sick/personal days until January! Although we have overcome one sickness, our whole family has been plagued with another. We all have colds, runny noses, coughs, and sore throats. Winter is upon us.
Here are some pictures from before the illnesses began.

I found your blog through Heather Hendrick's comments on her possibly adopting twins. We go to Living Hope with Heather and Aaron and their boys. My husband, Mark, and I had twins back in February. They just turned 9 months yesterday, the 19th. We have a boy and a girl, Caleb and Emmy (Emmy is 2 minutes older!). We also have a blog hesliptwins.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteAre you guys in the BCS area? We live in Bryan and are big Aggies as well! If you are, e-mail me at kasaggie at wans dot net and I can give you some info on the Mother of Twins Group if you are not already a part of it.
