Moving...

We're moving, but not where we planned. Friday, we went to the condo we had leased to measure for paint only to find that it was in horrible condition. None of the improvements agreed upon in our lease had been completed in a way that was in any way acceptable. Sticky paper blinds were replaced by roller shades that fell off the wall when we tried to open them. The toilet wasn't working and a lovely surprise was left behind for us. There was TONS of mold in the refrigerator and dirt EVERYWHERE. The last time we saw the condo there wasn't electricity...never sign a lease until you have seen the place lit up! The condo has never been in great condition, but this was horrible...it was a total mess. Sloan and I agreed that there was no way we were bringing our precious sons to live in that dump...so we called up the realtor who agreed to let us out of our lease. The only problem we face now is that our current lease is up tomorrow and there isn't a two bedroom (at a reasonable price & that would let us keep Jake) in Houston until the middle of May.

So we contemplated giving Jake to Sloan's sister, but we love our dog and we would miss him terribly, and there isn't an apartment worth giving him up. SO we are moving to Village Mills, Texas to live with Sloan's mom until an apartment opens up for us here. We rented a storage unit and all of our stuff will go there for now.

We probably won't be able to update the blog as often, but we will try to keep y'all as updated as we can! Please keep us in your prayers that we find a place to live soon!
