Just when you think you've got it all figured out!

Out of the blue...I was offered a job working back at Ebling Eye Care. The Eblings gave me an offer I couldn't refuse working as their optician starting in June. I know you are probably wondering how on earth I am qualified for this job?! I had the opportunity to work in the optical a LOT when I worked for the Eblings last year, apparently they were impressed enough with my skills to call me when their optician decided to leave. At first I was shocked, then flattered, then scared that I wouldn't be able to fulfill the duties required of me. With much encouragement from Dr. Karen, and the opportunity to take classes during the work day to learn more about "opticianing", I convinced myself that I was up for the challenge. Although it was hard to tell the school I wasn't coming back, even after I told them I was, they were very understanding and wished me the best. I have just been so blessed to have had the opportunity to work at Westbury and to grow so close to so many people there. I don't think I would have done it for anyone else, but the Eblings are just darn good people...and it's not every day you get to work for great people who value you for you!

So, from now on, when you need an eye exam or some new glasses...I know just the people to help you out!
