We Made It!!!

28 Weeks!!! 49 days until 35 weeks!

When we first got to the hospital the 28 week mark seemed so far away, but here we are! So now were are focused on 35 weeks, Valentines Day! I have never really been big on celebrating Valentines Day, but you better believe I will be celebrating if I am still pregnant. Being in the hospital and not being able to get out hasn't been the hardest part by any means, it is the constant questioning, poking and prodding that is really starting to wear on me. I'm afraid I was not very nice to my nurse this morning. I was woken up by my IV beeping, signaling that I needed a new bag of fluids, when the nurse came she felt this was a great time to ask me 20 questions, take my blood pressure, take my temp, check my reflexes, listen to my heart and lungs, and make me get up out of bed to be weighed. I was not amused...I was very comfortable (which these days is quite a feat) and I didn't want to get out of bed, or be bothered at all! Then as I was getting back in bed, she encouraged me to empty my bladder while I was up...that really bugged me. I really don't need to be told when to go to the bathroom, so I sorta snapped and told her that I didn't need to go, I needed to be left alone so that I could go back to sleep. It was then that she promised that she wouldn't come back until 11:00 when it is time to put the babies on the monitor. But of course by that point there was no getting back to sleep, so here I am updating the blog.

We had a great Christmas, lots of family and friends to share the day with and lots of yummy food! It will definitely be a Christmas we won't soon forget. I can't help but be excited when I think about next Christmas with our two little guys!

Well, there really isn't anything new to report, everything is still pretty much the same here. Hopefully we won't have any excitement to report for few more weeks!
