27 Weeks

56 days until 35 weeks!

I can't believe it has already been another week...time really is going by fast. My Mag was lowered this morning despite the fact that I wasn't having any problems with it at the higher level, blood work just showed that the level of Mag in my blood was getting too high. My only concern with this is that I will resume the same contraction pattern I had before they raised it...so we will wait and see. It is just hard balancing the information we get from our different doctors, Dr. Hutton seems to always want to change the med level and Dr. Carpenter likes to leave things alone until we there is a reason to change them (which is my preference). We haven't seen Dr. Carpenter today so we will see what he has to say.

Mom and Rose (Charlie's mom) came to visit yesterday and we had a great time. We all went downstairs to the McDonald's, me in a wheelchair with IVs in tow, and had lunch. It was nice to get out of the room for a while. When we got back to the room from our outing, Mom cut my hair...cutting off a few inches has really helped it to look more healthy and thick. Dr. Carpenter said the most likely culprit to my hair loss is a condition called alopecia areata and that it should go away after the boys arrive and my body gets back to normal. I am in eager anticipation of a good haircut and a pedicure once I get out of the hospital...I'm just not sure when I will find the time since I will have two little ones to devote my time to.
